Lunch will be served after the Liturgy of the Holy Eucharist
12:30-4:30 PM “The Pillars of Orthodox Spirituality,” presented by His Eminence Metropolitan Jonah
5:00 PM. Vespers
A Reception for Metropolitan Jonah will follow Vespers.
Sunday, February 11th
9:15 AM. Reception of the Metropolitan, followed by Matins
10:00 AM Liturgy of the Holy Eucharist — Metropolitan Jonah, homilist
A Catered Luncheon in honour of Metropolitan Jonah’s visit will follow the Liturgy. Metropolitan Jonah will be the luncheon speaker.
Metropolitan Jonah is a bishop of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR), and a former Primate of the Orthodox Church in America (OCA). He was a monk at the famous Valaam Monastery in Russia, and later the abbot of St. John of San Francisco Monastery in California before being consecrated a bishop in 2008.
The Retreat and meals are free and open to the public. Free will offerings will be taken. Visitors are always welcome. For more information contact:
