THE LAST GREAT DAY OF THE FEAST — Friday Evening, October 9th, at 6:00 PM

We will have services tomorrow (Friday) evening, October 9th at 6:00 PM for the Last Great Day of the Feast of Tabernacles. The "Eighth day" of the Festival of Tabernacles or Sukkot is a day called in the Scriptures (in Hebrew)  "Shemini Atzeret.”  It is the last of the Fall feasts. On the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles Jesus, Yeshua was in Jerusalem teaching:

On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water." But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified — John 7:37-39.

After the Millennial Kingdom (Revelation 20) pictured by the seven day Feast of Tabernacles, comes the eternal Kingdom of God (Revelation 21 and 22) pictured by the Eighth Day or Last Great Day of the Feast. What an amazing, loving and merciful plan of salvation is pictured for us in all seven of God’s holy festivals! What a wonderful future God has in store for us and for everyone who will respond to Him!

On the Last Great Day of the Feast Yeshua said, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” Let us assemble together as commanded in the Holy Scriptures that we might partake of this living water and that it might flow from our hearts and touch the lives of others.

I’ll be looking forward to seeing you tomorrow, Friday, evening at 6:00 PM for the Last Great Day of the Feast of Tabernacles. To God be the glory!

THE FAITH ONCE DELIVERED RADIO BROADCAST — Now Twice a Week!

The next two broadcasts of The Faith Once Delivered are episodes that you will not want to miss! We will be studying Revelation 19:11 — the Return of the King — right through the last verse in Revelation 20. This will be a verse by verse study of the Second Coming of Jesus and the Millennial Kingdom as revealed in the Holy Scriptures.

Around the year 160 CE, Justin Martyr wrote in his Dialogue with Trypho:

“I and every other completely orthodox Christian feel certain that there will be a resurrection of the flesh, followed by a thousand years in the rebuilt, embellished, and enlarged city of Jerusalem, as was announced by the prophets Ezekiel, Isaiah, and others.”

You cannot share the Gospel of the Kingdom of God unless you know what the Kingdom of God really is. By listening to these next two broadcasts you will learn all about the Millennial Kingdom, and then we will study the eternal Kingdom of God in future broadcasts. When you come to see and understand the incredible love and mercy of God, and the wonder of God’s world of tomorrow, you will understand why the Gospel is such Good News! You will be filled with hope and comfort and will want to share the Good News with others. Be sure to tune in, and invite your family and friends to listen as well.

Something miraculous is happening in Israel today — after almost 2,000 years Jews and Arabs are turning to Yeshua (Jesus) and sharing the Gospel with their own people in their own language!

There’s a powerful awakening happening in Israel today, with millions hearing the Gospel through media outreach programs.  The only Hebrew language seminary in the world is in Israel, and Jewish and Arab Israeli students are studying together in preparation for Christian service. Through this seminary Messianic Jews and Messianic Arabs are being trained as pastors for the Harvest.  The middle wall of partition is being broken down and Jewish and Arab believers are united as brothers and sisters in Messiah. It is a miracle of God and shows the power of God’s transforming grace!

OUR MISSION AT HOLY CROSS

At Holy Cross parish we are committed to proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, teaching the faith which was once delivered in the first century (Jude 3), and preparing a people for the coming of the Lord.

Maranatha — O Lord Come!

EVERYONE IS INVITED AND VISITORS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME!

Holy Cross is a teaching congregation. We take Bible study seriously and are a congregation of intentional disciples. Where else can you find such constant, and in-depth teaching from the pulpit, over the airwaves, on social media, in print, and by email? Believe me, it is very rare. Holy Cross is very special!

If you want to be fed with spiritual food rather than milk, and want to grow in grace, in your understanding of the Holy Scriptures, in your faith in God, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus the Messiah — then Holy Cross is the congregation you have been looking for.

I hope that you will accept my personal invitation to join us tomorrow evening (Friday, October 9th) at 6:00 PM for Evening Prayer for the Eighth and Last Great Day of the Feast of Tabernacles, and then on Sunday morning at 9:00 AM for Services. Bring your Bible with you and come ready to learn!

We are a faithful and friendly congregation, and we have a place for you!
